Authorities continued canvassing a residential area linked to the family of Savannah Guthrie on Tuesday following the release of new surveillance images tied to the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie.
Investigators with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were seen moving through the neighborhood, speaking with residents and reviewing potential camera footage. Neighbors reported an increased law enforcement presence throughout the day.
Tony Zaccagnini, who lives nearby, said deputies had previously asked to examine recordings from his home security system.
“They were there last week, asking to look at my cameras. We didn’t see nothing on it,” Zaccagnini said. He added that investigators did not request further contact information.

Officials declined to provide additional details about the scope of the search. “We’re not confirming anything at this time,” an FBI spokesperson based in Phoenix said.
The neighborhood search followed the public release of images showing a masked individual wearing gloves. According to Sheriff Chris Nanos, the person appeared to tamper with a camera at the victim’s front door on the morning of the disappearance. Authorities described the individual as armed but did not elaborate further.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb. 1 after failing to attend church. Law enforcement has said investigators believe she was taken against her will from her longtime home in Tucson. Authorities also confirmed that blood found on the exterior of the residence matched her DNA.

Family members previously issued a public video message addressing the situation, though investigators have not indicated whether that statement is connected to recent search activity.
The FBI is urging anyone with information to contact federal authorities or the sheriff’s office.
