The sister of Rebecca Park told investigators that Park’s fiancé confessed to being involved in her death, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Kimberly Park spoke with two detectives from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 25 after she was taken into custody on charges of tampering with evidence, lying to a police officer, and filing a false report.

She waived her Miranda rights, according to a copy of the probable cause affidavit filed in her case and obtained by the outlet, and allegedly said she lied to protect her sister’s fiancé.

“Kimberly Park identified that on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2025, while she was at Richard Falor’s home, he told her that he killed Rebecca Park and that he wanted to protect Kimberly by not sharing details with her,” Lt. Chris Piskor wrote in the affidavit.

Kimberly Park then said Falor allegedly told her that “something went wrong while trying to cut the baby out of Rebecca.”

Investigators noted that she had hinted at the allegation earlier the same day in a non-custodial interview at her home, after Rebecca Park’s body was discovered.

“[Kimberly] made a statement that Falor had told her that Rebecca had been taken care of and not to worry about it,” Piskor wrote.

The affidavit also states that Kimberly Park claimed Falor “told her to lie.”

That claim relates to an earlier interview on Nov. 22, when Kimberly Park told Piskor that Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew had struck Rebecca Park in the head, causing a seizure. Kimberly Park alleged that when they could not revive her, Bradly contacted a friend who picked up Rebecca Park’s body and took it away, according to the affidavit.

Kimberly Park also allegedly told investigators that Falor urged her to lie because he feared “the investigation getting close to him.”

The affidavit further notes that on Nov. 24, Kimberly Park told investigators she “was and has been in a romantic relationship with Falor.”

When her mother, Cortney Bartholomew — who is married to Bradly — was interviewed a few days after her own arrest, she also spoke about having an affair with Falor.

Kimberly Park remained in contact with investigators throughout the murder investigation and was the first person arrested in connection with the case, booked into custody hours after Rebecca Park’s body was found in the Manistee National Forest on Nov. 25.

Piskor wrote in the affidavit that a man Kimberly Park identified as Falor’s “co-conspirator” was questioned but later released after providing phone records that placed him outside the county on Nov. 3 — the night of Rebecca Park’s murder.

According to the affidavit, Falor requested a lawyer when investigators tried to question him. Kimberly Park did the same at her next interview, and both interviews were ended.

Kimberly Park was released a week after her arrest and is currently on house arrest after her bail was reduced from $750,000 to $5,000 last week.

Falor was also released around the same time after his bail was reduced in an unrelated case involving two drug charges. When asked whether he remained a person of interest after Kimberly Park’s allegations, the Wexford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office declined to comment.

As Kimberly Park and Falor were leaving the jail, Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew were arriving to be held for a longer period.

Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew each face one count of first-degree murder, felony murder, torture, conspiracy to commit torture, assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth, and conspiracy to commit assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth.

Each of those six charges carries a possible life sentence in prison.

They are also charged with one count of unlawful imprisonment and one count of removal of a dead body.

Prosecutors allege that on Nov. 3, the couple lured Park — Cortney’s biological daughter, who was about 38 weeks pregnant — to their Wexford County home. Authorities allege the couple then tortured her in an attempt to remove the unborn infant, resulting in the death of both, according to a press release earlier this month.

According to the affidavit, Bradly Bartholomew allegedly told officials the couple could not adopt a child because he is a registered sex offender.

“This case involves a truly horrific homicide in which a young woman and her unborn child endured unimaginable suffering at the hands of the Defendants,” said Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey, per the release. “The brutality and disregard for human life displayed here are deeply troubling. While these remain allegations until proven in court, the evidence reflects an extraordinary level of callousness and violence. We look forward to presenting the full facts in court.”
