A newly released video appears to show the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

The footage was shared on X on Jan. 9 by Alpha News and is described as being from the agent’s perspective. In the clip, Good is behind the wheel of her SUV, which is parked perpendicular to the roadway, as the person filming circles the vehicle.

“That’s fine dude. I’m not mad at you,” Good is heard saying to the person behind the camera. Her wife, Becca Good, records the encounter on her phone and speaks to the same person from outside the vehicle. “And just so you know, it will be the same plate when you come talk to us later. That’s fine,” Becca says.

She then adds, “You want to come at us? Go get yourself some lunch, big boy.”

Moments later, a voice can be heard yelling, “Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the f—ing car.”

As Becca reaches for the passenger door, Renee is seen reversing the SUV, then turning the wheel and driving forward toward the roadway. Becca is heard urging her, saying, “Drive, baby, drive — drive!”

At that point, what sounds like multiple gunshots ring out. After the shots, a voice says, “F—— bitch.” It’s unclear who said it or who it was directed at.

The video ends with what appears to be the sound of a crash.

Separate bystander videos of the shooting showed Ross — who was masked — firing multiple shots into Renee’s vehicle, including through the driver’s side front window, before the SUV crashed.

ABC News reported, citing city officials, that Renee, a 37-year-old mother, suffered gunshot wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed Good refused commands to exit her vehicle and then tried to run over federal agents, saying her actions amounted to a “domestic act of terrorism,” according to CBS.

Vice President JD Vance said in a post on X Friday that the video shared by Alpha News shows the ICE agent’s life was “endangered” and that he “fired in self-defense.”

Local officials, however, say that interpretation is not supported by the video evidence.

“They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense, having seen the video for myself, I want to tell everybody directly, that is bulls—,” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said at a press conference. “This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody getting killed.”
