Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made an unusual claim about President Donald Trump’s hormone levels while appearing on Katie Miller’s podcast on Tuesday, January 13.
During the conversation, Kennedy said Dr. Mehmet Oz told him that Trump, 79, has the “highest testosterone levels that he’s ever seen for an individual over 70 years old.” Kennedy said Oz relayed that assessment after reviewing the president’s medical records, adding that he believed Trump “will be happy” to hear the remark repeated publicly.
Kennedy Calls Trump’s Eating Habits “Unhinged”
Elsewhere in the interview, Kennedy criticized Trump’s fast-food-heavy diet. When Miller asked who in the administration has “the most unhinged eating habits,” Kennedy answered: “Donald Trump.”
“I don’t know how he’s alive,” he said, describing the president’s reported preferences for McDonald’s, KFC, and Diet Coke. Kennedy then suggested Trump’s health remains strong despite those habits, saying he has “the constitution of a deity” and “incredible health.”
Kennedy also claimed Trump trusts major fast-food chains while traveling because he’s concerned about getting sick on the road. He added that Trump “usually” eats “pretty good food,” while still emphasizing what he described as the president’s overall health.
“The Most Energetic Person,” Kennedy Says
Kennedy also described Trump as “the most energetic person any of us have ever met.” White House spokesperson Kush Desai echoed that sentiment in a statement to an outlet, saying Kennedy’s view aligns with Trump’s recent physical report and public schedule.
Rumors and Speculation About Trump’s Health Persist
Kennedy’s comments come as public speculation about Trump’s physical and mental fitness has continued into his second term. Critics have pointed to moments in speeches, social media posts, and public appearances as reasons for concern, while supporters and the White House have pushed back.
The article also notes that Trump has appeared at times with bandages on bruised hands when not using makeup to cover them, and that he has attributed the bruising to his use of aspirin.
Trump: “I’m Sharper Than I Was 25 Years Ago”
Trump has repeatedly insisted he is in excellent health. In recent remarks, he said he would disclose if anything were wrong, while acknowledging that health issues can come to anyone eventually.
He has also spoken about taking aspirin to “thin out the blood,” saying he prefers “nice, thin blood” and suggesting he has followed that routine for decades.
The piece adds that Trump’s doctor said he was in good health after a physical exam and MRI in October 2025.
