A musician named Buku shared a surprising moment of kindness after his car broke down on the side of the road — and the person who stopped to help turned out to be a global pop star.
In a video posted to TikTok (@bukumusic), Buku filmed himself as a vehicle pulled over nearby. When he looked up, he realized the driver was Justin Bieber.
“Are you Justin Bieber?” Buku asked in disbelief. “Yeah. What’s up, bro?” Bieber replied.
Overwhelmed, Buku immediately told him, “Justin, I love you, bro,” to which Bieber answered, “I love you, too.”
In a voiceover accompanying the clip, Buku explained that the breakdown came at the end of an emotionally heavy day. He said life had been feeling especially tough while trying to make it in the city, describing how he’d been pushing forward despite feeling discouraged by the world around him.

The video captures Buku stepping back, clearly trying to process what was happening. “I could be tripping,” he said, still stunned. “But I think Justin Bieber just stopped to help me.”
Buku later shared that Bieber listened as he opened up about what he was going through — and then paused to pray over him. The moment, Buku said, felt like comfort arriving exactly when he needed it.

In a follow-up TikTok, Buku became visibly emotional as the reality sank in. “I can’t believe what just happened,” he said, adding that he was crying from sheer disbelief. He described Bieber as one of his favorite singers and said the encounter felt deeply genuine.
Looking back on it all, Buku called the timing unreal. His car had broken down at the lowest point of the day, and then, out of nowhere, someone he admired stopped to help and offered him encouragement he won’t forget.
