A Missouri couple welcomed their baby girl into the world this week—and gave her a name inspired by two of the biggest names in pop culture: Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Born at Liberty Hospital just outside Kansas City, the newborn was named Kelce Taylor, a tribute to the chart-topping singer and her Super Bowl–winning boyfriend. The hospital shared the news in a social media post on Friday, calling her “the youngest Swiftie and newest member of the Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom.”
In an accompanying photo, baby Kelce is swaddled in a cozy blanket, sporting a yellow bow and laying atop a red Kelce jersey. Behind her is a playful display board that features a cartoon-style Swift in cowboy boots and proudly announces her name.
“Kelce Taylor is officially in her newborn era,” the hospital captioned the post—playing off Swift’s current Eras Tour branding.
Hospital staff say the name has already made an impression. “Our nurses say that baby Kelce loves her own special name,” the post added.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, both 35, have been dating since 2023. The couple’s relationship has captivated fans, drawing crossover appeal from both the NFL and pop worlds. Swift has frequently been seen cheering on Kelce from the stands, including during the Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills in the 2025 AFC Championship Game.
The name choice comes at a time when Swift and Kelce’s romance continues to make headlines—from game-day moments to Montana getaways and even a star-studded appearance at the Stanley Cup Final. Just this week, Kelce shared a personal photo dump on Instagram featuring sweet snapshots of their offseason adventures together, a move insiders say was “intentional” and reflective of how “serious” their relationship has become.
Now, thanks to some adoring fans in Missouri, their namesake lives on—in diapers, swaddles, and Chiefs red.
