Some Kansas City Chiefs fans and devoted Swifties just took their fandom to a whole new level—by naming their newborn after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
A baby girl born at Liberty Hospital in Missouri was given the name Kelce Taylor, combining the pop icon’s and the NFL star’s names. The hospital shared the news on Friday, July 25, in a heartwarming social media post that quickly captured attention.
The post featured a photo of the newborn swaddled in a yellow bow, resting atop a Kelce jersey. Behind her was a decorative sign, complete with a cartoon of Swift in cowboy boots, proudly announcing the name: Kelce Taylor.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of the youngest Swiftie and newest member of The Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom,” Liberty Hospital wrote in the caption.
“Kelce Taylor is officially in her newborn era,” the hospital added, nodding to Swift’s Eras Tour.
In the comments, Liberty Hospital also shared, “Our nurses say that baby Kelce loves her own special name.”
Swift and Kelce, both 35, have been romantically linked since 2023. The Chiefs tight end recently shared a photo roundup on Instagram, which included snapshots of the couple looking cozy on a boat and enjoying a group trip to Montana.

“Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯,” Kelce captioned the post. Among those featured were his brother Jason Kelce, mom Donna Kelce, and Swift’s brother Austin Swift.
A source told PEOPLE that Kelce’s decision to include Swift in his post “wasn’t random” and reflected the strength of their relationship.
“It was intentional,” the insider said. “They’ve been private in their own way, but this was his way of showing how serious things have become.”
“They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever,” the source added.
