Taylor Swift is set to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 6, just days after the Oct. 3 release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
The Tonight Show teased Swift’s upcoming appearance on Thursday morning via social media with a “Showgirl”-themed video trailer packed with Swift-style easter eggs — including the number 13, Vegas showgirls, and the album’s unofficial catchphrase: “And, baby, that’s show business for you.”
The Oct. 6 episode will also feature guest Keri Russell and a musical performance by the Format. It airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the following day on Peacock.
In addition to The Tonight Show, Swift will return to The Graham Norton Show on Oct. 3, the day of her album release, appearing alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson.
The celebrations extend to theaters, where Swift will host an 89-minute cinematic event titled Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl. The special screenings will run Friday through Sunday of her album release weekend. AMC Theatres will host the event across all 540 of its locations, as part of Swift’s ongoing deal with AMC Theatres Distribution.
Additional screenings will also take place in thousands of non-AMC theaters across North America, including Cinemark and Regal locations.
Target is joining the celebration by opening select stores at midnight local time on release day to sell copies of The Life of a Showgirl, including exclusive variants as well as the standard edition. Approximately 500 local stores are expected to participate, according to Variety.
