Devin Spivey, 21, of Maryland, was taken into custody on June 30 and faces 18 charges related to the armed robbery and shooting of Dorzon, 40, which occurred on November 5, 2024.

Ambushed and Robbed After Dinner

According to reports from WJLA, Spivey allegedly tailed Dorzon’s Uber from a Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Washington, D.C., to a location in Hyattsville, Maryland around 10 p.m.

When Dorzon and a woman exited the car, they were ambushed and shot by multiple suspects, who then fled with $100,000 in valuables in a stolen white Infiniti EX35.

“God had His hand on me that night. He covered me. And I thank Him every single day for keeping me here.”
