Content creator Elias Fritz, who goes by “JaidoWorld” on social media, was arrested on Aug. 11 on charges of attempted murder.
According to an Aug. 11 crime report from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, officers in New Providence, Bahamas, spotted a vehicle traveling at “high speed” without headlights around 4:30 a.m. When police tried to stop the vehicle, the occupants allegedly fired at them, prompting officers to return fire.
The chase ended when the car collided with a utility pole. Three passengers — two 19-year-olds and a 17-year-old male — were arrested, and authorities recovered a “high-powered weapon” from the vehicle, the report states.
Local outlets Eyewitness News Bahamas and The Tribune 242 later identified one of the 19-year-old passengers as Fritz.
The report also mentions that during the pursuit, another police unit found a nearby motorist with apparent gunshot wounds, allegedly fired by occupants of a vehicle matching the description of Fritz’s car. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to Eyewitness News Bahamas — which obtained video of the alleged chase — Fritz and another adult in the vehicle face charges of attempted armed robbery, possession of ammunition, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, in addition to attempted murder.
Neither Fritz nor the other adult was required to enter a plea, and both were denied bail, according to Eyewitness News Bahamas.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 21 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
Fritz, who has been posting on TikTok since May 2024, first gained attention as a bartender at Tiki Bikini Hut in Nassau, Bahamas. He currently has over 300,000 followers on the platform.
