Weeks after dropping an F-bomb in frustration over the Iran-Israel conflict, President Donald Trump has once again been caught cursing on live television—this time during a tour of Florida’s controversial new immigration detention facility, known informally as “Alligator Alcatraz.”

While visiting the massive site in Ochopee, Florida, alongside Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Trump took a jab at his predecessor, alleging that Joe Biden once wanted him imprisoned there.

“Hey, Biden wanted me in here,” Trump remarked, prompting laughter from Noem and DeSantis.

Moments later, he added with a smirk, “It didn’t work out, but he wanted me in here,” before muttering under his breath, “that son of a b*tch,”—a comment clearly picked up by a nearby microphone.

Trump Inspects Cells, Cracks Reptile Joke

During the tour, Trump reviewed the austere conditions inside the facility, which is currently outfitted with metal cots and barbed-wire fencing. Officials noted that the rooms would be kept at “reasonable” temperatures, to which Trump quipped that Biden wanted him placed under similar conditions.

In a controversial moment, Trump also joked to reporters:

“We’re going to teach [the migrants] how to run away from reptiles.”

The remark appeared to reference the facility’s remote location in the Florida Everglades, surrounded by alligators, snakes, and mosquito-infested wetlands—a feature that supporters say makes it “escape-proof” without needing elaborate barriers.

Public Outrage Grows Over ‘Alligator Alcatraz’

The newly operational 5,000-bed detention facility, located on a former airfield deep in the Everglades, has sparked intense backlash from immigration advocates and civil rights groups, who describe the site as “inhumane” and “dehumanizing.”

Protests have erupted across Florida and beyond, with demonstrators condemning the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration policies and mass deportation efforts.

Not the First Time

This marks the second time in recent weeks that President Trump has been caught using profanity on camera. Previously, he made headlines for dropping the F-word while expressing outrage over a breach in the Iran-Israel ceasefire, comments that drew both criticism and praise.

While some of Trump’s supporters brush off the expletives as “authentic” leadership, critics argue that his increasingly volatile tone and immigration policies represent a dangerous shift in governance.

Meanwhile, construction of similar detention centers is reportedly being considered in other states.
