President Donald Trump unleashed a late-night posting spree on Monday, Dec. 1, sharing more than 160 messages on his Truth Social platform that ranged from attacks on political rivals to praise for first lady Melania Trump.
Over the course of Monday evening, starting around 7 p.m. ET and stretching to nearly midnight, the 79-year-old president mixed reposts from other accounts with his own commentary. He picked back up again early Tuesday, Dec. 2, declaring at 5:48 a.m., “TRUTH SOCIAL IS THE BEST! There is nothing even close!!!”
In his posts, Trump boosted MAGA-aligned content while going after a familiar list of adversaries, including former President Joe Biden, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly. Kelly was one of six Democratic lawmakers and military veterans who appeared in a video urging members of the military and intelligence community to refuse unlawful orders from the president.
Trump also shared multiple video clips during the outburst. One repost featured a conversation between conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Bed Bath & Beyond founder Patrick Byrne from Jones’ InfoWars show, packaged under the title “Michelle Obama May Have Used Biden’s Autopen in the Final Days of His Disastrous Administration to Pardon Key Individuals.”
In another reposted video, Trump appeared in a holiday-themed montage — including his cameo from Home Alone 2 — alongside on-screen text announcing that “Christmas is officially GREAT again.”
The Christmas montage also highlighted Melania Trump, who was the subject of yet another promoted clip. In that video, various images of the first lady played over Tom Jones’ song “She’s a Lady.”
Among the more eye-catching posts was what appeared to be an AI-generated video of Elon Musk, 54, in which the tech billionaire described Trump’s “takeover of Minnesota” and vowed to strip temporary protections from Somali migrants living in the state.

In a separate post, Trump amplified attacks on Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, including a claim that she is “a terrorist from a terrorist family.”
Other prominent figures targeted in the overnight blitz included former Attorney General Eric Holder, whom Trump labeled an “Obama sycophant” who “did so much to hurt our Country.”
Trump also brought up Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff of California, reviving his nickname “Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff” and accusing him of being “guilty of crimes against our Country!!!”
The president returned to one of his newest recurring themes as well: criticizing Sen. Kelly and the five other Democrats who appeared in the military-focused PSA. After previously reposting a call to hang the six lawmakers last month, Trump again described them as “a threat to America” in one of Monday night’s many posts.
The Truth Social blitz did not go unnoticed on Capitol Hill. Rep. Jason Crow, who appeared in the same video as Kelly, responded on X late Monday, writing, “The President can post on Truth Social all he wants, but he will never threaten or intimidate me.”
Crow continued, “I’ve taken many oaths—as a paratrooper, Army Ranger, and now Member of Congress. My obligation is to the Constitution, not Donald Trump.”
