President Donald Trump lashed out Wednesday on Truth Social, calling renewed attention on the Jeffrey Epstein case the “latest media scam” from the “Radical Left Democrats,” designed to deflect from his growing political success.
In a strongly worded post, Trump compared the Epstein narrative to what he described as past “hoaxes” orchestrated by Democrats and the corporate media—including the Steele Dossier, the Hunter Biden laptop, and the Russia investigation.
“The Radical Left Democrats have struck again!” Trump wrote. “Just like with the FAKE Steele Dossier, the lying 51 ‘Intelligence’ Agents, the Laptop from Hell, and the Russia, Russia, Russia Scam—this is just another desperate hoax.”
Trump claimed the renewed focus on Epstein is an attempt by Democrats—who he says are “terrible at governing” and “even worse at winning elections”—to derail his momentum ahead of the 2026 election cycle.
“This is their new scam, and we’re calling it exactly what it is: the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” he declared. “Some of my former supporters have swallowed this garbage completely. I don’t want their support anymore!”
He then touted his achievements, saying, “I’ve delivered more success in just six months than possibly any president in U.S. history.”
Trump’s comments come amid scrutiny of how Attorney General Pam Bondi handled aspects of the Epstein files. Earlier this week, Trump defended Bondi, saying she “handled it very well.” He also brushed off an Epstein-related question from a reporter during a cabinet meeting, responding, “Are people still talking about this guy?”
