Trump Suffers Blow in Another Poll: Mounting Pressure

President Trump is facing yet another blow to his approval ratings as multiple recent polls reveal mounting public dissatisfaction across key demographics.

A new Gallup survey shows that Trump’s overall approval among U.S. adults has fallen to 37%, a post-re-election low in his second term. The decline is particularly notable among independent voters, whose approval plunged to 29%, sharply down from 46% at the start of his term.

Adding to the pressure, a Washington Post analysis highlights significant erosion in Trump’s support on what were once considered his political strongholds: immigration and the economy. The controversial Epstein scandal continues to overshadow his administration’s gains, further dampening his broader public appeal.

Meanwhile, Axios reports the paradox of Trump’s situation—despite major legislative and policy achievements such as tax cuts, plummeting border crossings, and a new trade deal with Japan, poll after poll shows growing disapproval. Public backlash is being driven by concerns over aggressive deportation tactics, economic skepticism, and lingering fallout from the Epstein controversy.

Together, these polls paint a grim portrait for Trump’s administration—one where hard-won victories are being neutralized by declining trust and support from voters who were once among his most reliable allies.
