Tucker Carlson has joined the chorus of MAGA voices slamming the Department of Justice after it concluded that Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide and found no evidence of a hidden “client list” or a blackmail scheme involving high-profile individuals.
Speaking on his podcast this week, Carlson took aim at Attorney General Pam Bondi, accusing her of deliberately concealing explosive details about Epstein’s connections, and suggesting a “cover-up” was underway.
“This is obvious,” Carlson claimed. “Pam Bondi is hiding something—something big.”
His comments come after the DOJ and FBI released a two-page memo debunking many long-standing conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death. The memo stated plainly that no credible evidence had been found to support claims that Epstein operated a blackmail ring or kept a list of clients for leverage. It also reaffirmed the conclusion that Epstein died by suicide, citing surveillance footage from outside his jail cell.
Still, Bondi had previously told Fox News in February that a so-called “Epstein client list” was “on her desk,” citing a directive from former President Donald Trump to review all documents related to the disgraced financier’s crimes.
Although Bondi and the White House have since clarified that she was referring to the broader cache of Epstein-related files—not a list of high-profile clients—many MAGA influencers have demanded her resignation, furious at what they see as DOJ inaction.
On his show, Carlson dismissed the idea that Trump could have been involved with Epstein, saying, “For whatever his sins, I don’t think he’s that guy. I don’t think he likes creepy s*x stuff. That’s just my view.”
Instead, Carlson offered an alternative theory: that the real reason for the secrecy is Epstein’s ties to U.S. and Israeli intelligence services.
“There’s really only one explanation left,” Carlson said. “This whole thing stinks of an intelligence operation, and they’re protecting their own. U.S. and Israeli intel—this is what it looks like when the agencies are involved.”
His guest, Breaking Points co-host Saagar Enjeti, agreed—citing a 2021 BuzzFeed News investigation that revealed at least 10 CIA employees and contractors were implicated in child sex crimes, yet were never prosecuted in court, allegedly to protect classified information.
“These cases were swept under the rug because the agency feared exposure in open court,” Enjeti said. “The only time they moved forward with prosecution was when one of them had already been charged for leaking classified intel.”
Carlson and Enjeti argued that the Epstein scandal may be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to misconduct within intelligence circles—suggesting that national security concerns have once again been used as a shield to avoid accountability.
