‘Unraveling’: Ex-Trump associate warns it’s the beginning of the end for MAGA

Lev Parnas, a former associate of Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani, has published a Substack article asserting that the MAGA movement is beginning to unravel.

Parnas wrote that early signs of fracture began to show a month ago, referencing figures like right-wing activist Laura Loomer raising alarms over Trump’s alleged foreign entanglements — including ties to Russia’s covert shipping operations, Venezuela’s oil arrangements with China and Russia, and a private jet from Qatar reportedly gifted to Trump.

He also pointed to what he described as a breakdown in Trump’s relationship with tech billionaire Elon Musk.

“My sources — and these are genuine insiders, not TV analysts — tell me the fallout between Trump and Musk is personal, bitter, and intensifying,” Parnas claimed. “The alliance is over.”

According to Parnas, these developments mark a deeper split within MAGA’s digital and political base.

“The movement is now being forced to choose between the man who gave them a platform and the man who built the movement.”

He also cited former Fox News host Tucker Carlson as a bellwether of the growing discord. Carlson, after a heated exchange with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), warned Steve Bannon, “If Trump attacks Iran, it’ll be the end of MAGA.” Parnas interpreted that not as a warning but a declaration:

“Tucker is telling the movement: this man will destroy you.”

Parnas added that Trump undermining his own Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, on Iran — dismissing her views and expressing concern about Iran nearing nuclear capability — underscored the internal chaos.

“This is what authoritarian collapse looks like from the inside,” Parnas wrote. “Trump is unraveling. His circle is fracturing. And the movement that once followed him unquestioningly — from Congress to social media to the Senate floor — is now turning on itself.”
