A new trailer for MELANIA debuted Wednesday, offering a behind-the-scenes look at first lady Melania Trump in the final stretch before returning to the White House — the 20 days leading up to her husband’s second inauguration. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on January 30.

“For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold—a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming first lady of the United States of America,” Trump told Fox News.

In an earlier appearance on Fox & Friends, Trump, 55, described the project as an intimate portrait of both her public duties and private routine. The documentary is directed by Brett Ratner and is expected to include appearances by President Donald Trump and their son, Barron.

The trailer shows the future first lady advising her husband as he prepares for a speech centered on his legacy as a peacemaker. “Peacemaker and unifier,” she tells him.

Melania was acquired by Amazon MGM Studios for a reported $40 million, placing it among the largest publicly known licensing deals for a political documentary. It will also receive a limited theatrical release before moving to Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video.

The film’s announcement earlier this year — prior to the president’s inauguration — also underscored a visible change in the relationship between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump. Amazon has since moved closer to the incoming administration, including a $1 million pledge to Trump’s inauguration fund.

Bezos, previously a frequent target of Trump’s criticism over Amazon and Washington Post coverage, has expressed optimism about potential regulatory shifts in a second term. His earlier decision not to allow the Post to endorse a presidential candidate sparked subscription cancellations and internal friction, including the departure of a cartoonist after an editor declined a sketch depicting media executives with the then president-elect.

Ratner’s Hollywood career slowed after misconduct allegations, which he has denied.

Melania Trump is credited as an executive producer and announced in November the launch of Muse Films, a new production company connected to the upcoming MELANIA release. It remains unclear whether Muse Films played a direct role in producing the documentary or is primarily positioned as a branding platform for future projects.

An unnamed source familiar with the planning told Fox News Digital that the first lady was involved “in every aspect” of the project, including post-production.
