Wedding Guest Charged with Assault After Allegedly Punching Bride at Reception

A human skull found by a dog has been confirmed as belonging to a man whose reality TV star girlfriend is accused of beheading him.

Tamika Chesser, a former contestant on Beauty and the Geek Australia, was arrested after the body of her partner, Julian Story, was discovered without a head in their South Australia home in June, according to South Australia Police.

The skull was found in July by a dog, and police confirmed on Thursday, Sept. 5, that it belonged to Story.

The case began when police responded to reports of a small fire and found the 39-year-old man’s remains on June 19. His skull was missing at the time.

Court documents cited by Australian broadcaster ABC said that Chesser, 34, was seen by a witness locking the apartment and leaving with her dogs. She reportedly told the witness that nothing was wrong, even though smoke was coming from the home. Police believe Story was killed around June 17.

The skull was officially recovered on July 31.

Chesser, who has also modeled for Playboy and Ralph, was arrested without incident. Officers found her in a nearby yard in what they described as a “catatonic and unresponsive state,” according to court documents.

Police have also released CCTV footage showing Chesser around the time Story is believed to have been killed. They are asking anyone with information about her movements that night to come forward.

The investigation is still ongoing.
