A bride’s digital wedding album was completely erased following a bitter dispute with her sister — the very person who had agreed to edit the photos.
The 28-year-old sister shared her story on Reddit’s “Am I the A——” forum, asking whether she was wrong for deleting “over 200” wedding photos she had promised to edit for her older sibling, 30.
According to her post, the sisters’ relationship began deteriorating last summer when she decided to move to another state in July 2024. Her decision “pissed off” her then-engaged sister, who complained that the move — about an hour away from their mother — would make it harder for her to visit. Their mother has a disability, which heightened the tension.
After an argument over the relocation, the sisters stopped speaking. However, they reconnected when the younger sibling later moved back home to help care for their mother, who was struggling more with daily tasks. She explained that she only returned because her sister and other siblings, despite living nearby, weren’t helping their mother.
Although they resumed contact, the bride chose not to invite her younger sister to her wedding on October 26, 2024.
“My sister still finds anything and everything she can to bitch about and degrade me,” the Redditor wrote.
Despite their strained relationship, the woman agreed to edit her sister’s wedding photos for unspecified reasons.

In October, she spent an entire morning at the hospital while their mother underwent surgery. Her sister only stopped by “for probably 10 minutes.” The next day, another argument broke out — this time about their kids’ joint trick-or-treating plans — and tensions escalated further.
The breaking point came soon after.
“Since she wanted me to edit most of her wedding pictures (they were ALL saved on my cloud drive), I told her to apologize since it was in front of kids,” she explained. “She didn’t. So I went through and deleted every single one of her wedding pictures.”
She ended her post with a blunt note: “As always, have the day you deserve.”

Many Reddit users supported her decision, saying that people often need to face consequences for their behavior.
“You know what, hell yeah,” one top comment said.
Another added, “No respect for you means no access to you or your resources and skills.”
A third commenter simply wrote, “OMG, you are my petty queen.”
