Jess Ahner’s two biggest passions couldn’t be more different — yet she refuses to choose between them.
On social media, Ahner has built a sizable following (more than 224,000 on TikTok) by sharing what it looks like to split her life between active duty in the U.S. Air Force and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens. During football season, her days might start on an Air Force base, end on an NFL sideline, and include a cross-country flight somewhere in between — often while she’s switching between two very recognizable uniforms.
Even with a packed schedule, Ahner still makes room for everyday moments and nights out. That’s clear in her “2025 through mirror selfies” TikTok, shared on Dec. 13, which offered followers a snapshot of her year.
Earlier in 2025, she also posted a photo carousel from what she called “another chaotic 48ish hours in my life,” complete with timestamps that mapped out her whirlwind routine. The post opens with a sunrise photo and a selfie from day one of a new Air Force assignment in Las Vegas.
By noon, she was smiling in a photo taken by her mom. “Made it home!” she wrote in overlaying text. A few hours later — in a mirror selfie timestamped 7 p.m. — she admitted she was questioning her choices as she prepared for a red-eye flight back to Baltimore: “Rethinking my life decisions as l get ready for my red-eye flight back to Baltimore.”
On the plane, Ahner looked exhausted, but her caption made her mindset clear. “I am actually so thankful to fly back and dance at another game,” she said.
After landing in Maryland, she grabbed a quick nap at a friend’s place around 5:45 a.m. Just over five hours later, she was back up and getting ready for game day. By 1:30 p.m., she’d already eaten lunch, arrived at the stadium, and still managed to beat some teammates to the locker room.
From there, her timeline kept rolling. She snapped selfies with fellow squad members — one during warm-ups and another on the field during a 3:00 p.m. rehearsal. Later, her hair was styled into full game-day mode — teased, tousled, and secured with the team headband. By 9:30 p.m., she was back on the field again, capturing yet another moment from the night.
After the game — and a chance to watch All Time Low perform at halftime — Ahner posted a car selfie at 11:30 p.m. as she headed back to her friend’s house while “fighting traffic.” Once she got in, she shared her late-night Taco Bell dinner, eaten shortly after midnight.
She was in bed by 1:30 a.m., but her schedule wasn’t done. The slideshow included a morning mirror selfie captioned as she was “getting ready for the airport,” followed by a final photo of her pre-flight breakfast at 9:30 a.m.: a muffin, a frosted pastry, and a Diet Coke.
“Made it to the airport and time for my 5 hour flight back to Vegas!!!” she wrote. “10/10 weekend 🎉 GO RAVENS!!!”
