A 35-year-old woman who vanished more than a year ago stunned gas station employees in Little Rock, Arkansas, last Thursday when she walked in and told them to call the police—saying she had been missing and had a warrant out for her arrest.

The woman, Tori Milsak, was quickly taken into custody and is now being held at the Garland County Detention Center, according to local reports.

Police have not released full details on the arrest, but court records reviewed by The U.S. Sun show Milsak was facing charges of breaking or entering and first-degree criminal mischief before her disappearance.

Disappearance After Family Tragedy

Milsak’s brother, Jason Hamel, said her sudden reappearance brought a flood of emotions—shock, relief, and unanswered questions.

“I’d been told multiple times that she might’ve been murdered,” Hamel told a local station.
“Hope was gone. We were holding onto 1%, and she turned out to be that 1%.”

Milsak had been reported missing on June 6, 2024, last seen in Hot Springs, about an hour west of Little Rock. Her disappearance came months after a family tragedy—the death of their sister in a motorcycle accident.

Hamel explained that the loss deeply affected Tori, especially after he and their father had to make the difficult decision to remove their sister from life support. Milsak reportedly struggled with post-traumatic stress in the aftermath.

Their final conversation, Hamel said, still haunts him.

“She sounded upset, and I snapped. I told her I didn’t have time for her crap,” he said.
“She just said, ‘I’m sorry. I love you. I’ll call in a week.’ And then nothing. That’s stayed with me all year.”

Family Wants Answers and Justice

After learning his sister had resurfaced, Hamel said he was “angry—not at Tori—but at some people” and wanted to know what really happened over the past year.

“Was she held against her will? Did she run? I don’t know yet,” he said.
“I just want to see her and make sure she’s okay. Then we’ll start the healing process.”

A GoFundMe has been launched by a close friend to raise funds for Milsak’s legal defense and mental health treatment. The friend said the charges stem from before she went missing and that she urgently needs legal and emotional support.

“Her family and friends are trying to get her into a treatment center. Any funds raised will go toward legal fees, court costs, and mental health care,” the fundraiser’s description reads.

On Sunday, Hamel posted online that there were still no updates from police and criticized people who were spreading rumors and negativity.

“This is far from over,” he wrote.
“Tori needs support now more than ever to share her side of the story.”

Authorities have not yet released further information about the circumstances of Milsak’s disappearance or arrest.
