As beachgoers across the United States gear up for one of the busiest weeks of the summer, a photo of a Florida police officer is going viral — not just for her looks, but also for her timely holiday warning.
Detective De Andrade of the Hollywood, Florida Police Department is making headlines after appearing at the beach this weekend ahead of Fourth of July festivities. Dubbed by some online as the “world’s hottest police officer,” she’s quickly become a trending figure on social media.
But her message was all business.
In a public safety alert, Detective De Andrade reminded visitors to review the rules posted at every beach entrance and to follow all regulations for a safe and enjoyable holiday.

- Pets on the beach or Broadwalk 🐾
- Scooters or motorized vehicles on the Broadwalk 🛴
- Skateboards in parks or on the Broadwalk 🛹
- Bikes outside of designated bike paths 🚲
- Alcohol or glass containers in public areas 🍷
- Tables of any kind along the beach 🪑
- Open flames or barbecues on the beach or Broadwalk 🔥
- Smoking anywhere on the beach 🚭
- Oversized umbrellas, tents, or canopies over 10 feet wide or placed too close together ⛱️
- Coolers larger than 36 inches ❄️
“Stay safe — and cool — this Fourth of July weekend,” the department posted alongside the reminder.
With millions expected to flock to beaches across the country, Hollywood PD is taking no chances when it comes to safety and order — and thanks to Detective De Andrade, the message is getting extra attention.
