U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday that he will sign an executive order before next year’s midterm elections to limit the use of mail-in ballots and voting machines.
Trump announced that he wants to lead “a movement” to remove these systems nationwide.
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT…” Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform.
He also argued that the United States is the only country in the world still using mail-in voting and claimed that other nations ended the practice after facing what he called “massive voter fraud.”
