A video shared Wednesday on X features a woman who describes herself as a witch and says she has been performing “spells” aimed at political outcomes involving President Donald Trump.

In the clip, she records herself from a car and tells viewers she has posted “a couple spells” on her YouTube channel and encourages others to participate.

“I feel like … the more witches that ally up and do magic, the better,” she says.

She claims there have been “a couple of manifestations that look good,” adding that “parts of the government are responding to Trump” and are trying to “abolish Trump.” The video does not clarify what she means by “abolish.”

The woman also references wanting former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama to make statements, adding that their public comments made her feel “more confident that the spells are working.”

The footage has drawn attention online, both for the claims being made and for the broader debate it has sparked about political activism, belief systems, and how people talk about opponents.

From a Christian perspective, the response to rhetoric like this is not merely outrage, but prayer — for the country, for leaders, and for those who promote ideas or practices Christians believe are spiritually harmful.

In Matthew 5:43–44, Jesus teaches: “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

That instruction, believers argue, should guide the response: to pray for repentance, protection, and peace rather than to dehumanize or demean.

Whatever one thinks of the video’s claims, the more constructive path is to reject hatred, avoid personal attacks, and focus on moral clarity, prayer, and truth.
