A woman was taken into custody on Tuesday, Sept. 23, after allegedly making a fake bomb threat aboard a Frontier Airlines flight, the company confirmed.

According to FlightRadar24, Frontier flight 1783 was scheduled to depart Nashville International Airport at 7:30 a.m. local time on Sept. 23, but the Denver-bound plane did not take off until 10:21 a.m.

“A passenger claimed there was an explosive device on the aircraft,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Law enforcement support was requested and the passenger was subsequently deplaned.”

“Out of an abundance of caution, all other passengers were asked to temporarily deplane while law enforcement conducted a security sweep,” the spokesperson added. “The threat was deemed noncredible, and the flight was reboarded and traveled safely to Denver.”

The flight eventually landed more than two hours later than scheduled, according to flight tracking data.

A TikTok user who said they were on the same flight shared a video showing a uniformed officer forcibly grabbing the woman’s arm and pulling her toward the aisle. During the altercation, she can be heard saying, “It’s gonna explode.”

An arrest affidavit obtained by The Denver Post states that flight attendants told police the woman had been denied boarding due to her intoxication. Airline employees reportedly asked her to leave the plane several times, but she allegedly responded, “I have a f—— bomb, so nobody is going anywhere.”

Criminal court records reviewed by PEOPLE show the 35-year-old faces charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and making a false report. She is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7.

Earlier this month, another passenger was forcibly removed from a plane for allegedly refusing to wear a seatbelt. The incident occurred in Manchester, U.K., on Saturday, Sept. 13, fellow traveler Carmela Colasurdo told Storyful.

“We boarded the flight on time and were then told we would be delayed due to a passenger not cooperating with the crew,” Colasurdo said. “He was intoxicated and was refusing to fasten his seatbelt.”

In a video captured by Colasurdo, two uniformed police officers dragged the passenger down the aisle, with one holding his hands and the other his feet. It is unclear which airline was involved or whether the passenger faced any consequences. PEOPLE has reached out to the Greater Manchester Police and Manchester Airport for comment.
