Kai Trump, 18, is set to make her first appearance in an LPGA tournament after receiving a sponsor’s invitation to compete in the Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican event next month in Belleair, Florida, organizers announced.
A University of Miami golf commit, Kai is currently a senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach. She is the eldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump.
“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour, and I am thrilled to be able to compete at The Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November,” Kai said in a statement. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”
The granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, Kai regularly participates in junior and amateur tournaments on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) circuit and the Srixon Medalist Tour under the South Florida PGA. She tied for third in a July event, according to Golf.com.

Ranked No. 979 in the Universal Golf Rankings’ junior girls division, Kai competed earlier this year at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, finishing 24th in the 24-player field after shooting 52 over par.
Last spring, the young golfer was seen with Tiger Woods, who has been quietly dating her mother, Vanessa Trump. The pair were photographed together at the Genesis Invitational in February, just days before Woods sustained an Achilles tendon injury that disrupted his plans for the Masters in April.
Vanessa and Woods made their relationship Instagram official in March, posting photos together. Woods captioned the post, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,” adding a request for privacy for those close to them.
