One joyful squeal made a Georgia family’s world a little brighter.

Anna Usher, 30, shared a touching video on Instagram showing her daughters — Jovi, 5, and Given, 6 — revealing that their parents are expecting another baby.

In the clip, the sisters explain that they had to wait for their mom’s at-home pregnancy test timer to finish before checking the result. They discuss how they’d know the outcome from the number of lines on the test and mention that their dad, Conner, 31, and little brother, Baylor, 2, were waiting downstairs for the news.

When Anna finally told them they could look, the girls glanced at the test, exchanged wide-eyed looks, and then Jovi let out an excited squeal — the sound that instantly confirmed what Anna already suspected.

“I knew right away from that squeal,” she said, adding that she felt it deep down in her “mom gut.” Though they had told the girls not to scream to avoid giving away the result, she immediately sensed the truth. “You can see in the video I kind of look upward like, ‘Oh my gosh, is this real life?’”

Later in the video, the girls ran downstairs to their waiting family, who had their eyes covered. When they shouted the news, Anna joyfully announced, “We’re having a baby,” while Given wiped away happy tears.

The idea for the girls to reveal the result was Conner’s, Anna explained, though she wasn’t sure it would work. “I told him the girls wouldn’t understand how to read one line versus two, and what that meant,” she said. “We didn’t give them any script and had no idea what they’d end up doing or saying, which made it even more special.”

The kids already have preferences for their growing family. “The girls want a baby brother so Baylor can have someone to play with,” Anna shared. “Baylor just goes along with whatever his big sisters say!”

The video clips, also shared on TikTok, have now been viewed over 5.5 million times and received nearly 570,000 likes. Anna says the online reaction has been “so precious.”

“The moment was completely off-script and natural,” she said. “People have called it a ‘core memory’ our family will remember forever. Someone even suggested we do our gender reveal the same way — letting the kids open the envelope and come out to tell us, which I love!”

As for the Ushers, they’re “over the moon excited” to become a family of six.
