Donald Trump, 79, Says Joe Biden, 83, Is the ‘Worst Thing That Ever Happened to Old People’

Donald Trump is continuing to take jabs at his presidential predecessor, Joe Biden.

In a new interview with The New York Times, Trump, 79, made several comments about the 83-year-old former president. “I think Joe Biden is the worst thing that ever happened to old people,” Trump said during the two-hour conversation.

The Times reported that Trump brought up Biden’s name “repeatedly” throughout the interview.

Trump also brushed aside concerns about his own age, saying that being eight years older than when he first took office hasn’t affected his ability to lead. “I think it’s easier for me. I feel physically the same,” he said. “I feel the way I did 40 years ago.”

During the interview, Trump revisited comments he previously made to The Wall Street Journal about taking a 325-milligram daily dose of aspirin, a regimen that is not recommended as preventive medicine for people over 70.

“I want nice, thin blood going through,” he said, adding that he won’t take other blood thinners, “because everyone I know that took them is dead.”

He also addressed taking a GLP-1 medication for weight loss, saying that while he hasn’t used it before, “I probably should.”

“I’ve gone out of my way to take physical exams more than anybody,” Trump said as questions about his health continue to circulate. “I just feel it’s important because I think that people that are president ideally should be in good health, and they should be good cognitively.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has criticized Biden publicly. Last month, the White House unveiled new plaques added to the Presidential Walk of Fame on the Colonnade.

“Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History. Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States, Biden oversaw a series of unprecedented disasters that brought our Nation to the brink of destruction,” a new description now reads.
