Renee Nicole Good’s Venmo Shows BLM Support — and Payments From Mom Labeled ‘Rent,’ ‘Electric,’ and ‘HELP’

Anti-ICE activist Renee Nicole Good appeared to express support for Black Lives Matter on social media-linked accounts, and her public Venmo history suggests she received financial help from her mother for expenses such as rent and utilities.

Good’s Venmo account, listed under the handle “Renee-Goody,” used a profile photo of her holding an infant alongside a banner that read “Black Lives Matter,” featuring a raised-fist symbol.

The earliest visible transaction in the account’s public history dates to October 2020. One payment included a note to stand-up comedian Nick Delorenzo—described as a friend of Good’s ex-husband—reading “terrorism.” The note’s intent is unclear and could be slang or a joke rather than a literal description.

The Post has reached out to Delorenzo.

Delorenzo wrote on Facebook this week that Good, 37, was shot and killed after authorities said she rammed her vehicle into an ICE agent in Minneapolis. In the post, he said Good was the ex-wife of a friend who died a few years earlier and that she shared a child with ex-partner Tim Macklin. He added that her 6-year-old son is now without both parents, calling the situation devastating.

Good’s public Venmo activity appears to stop on Sept. 11, 2024. The account history also shows entries indicating her mother, Donna Ganger, sent money during two periods in recent years for items labeled as rent, an electric bill, and other assistance. In messages dated Aug. through Sept. 2024, the notes referenced rent, an electric bill, and “HELP,” with amounts not specified in this article.

Earlier entries suggest Good later sent her mother money described as “some payback” for help with bills in 2022. That same year, the account history shows payments from Ganger with notes referencing travel, gas, bills, and a message to “come home.”

Separately, a Pinterest account featuring Good’s photo under the maiden name Macklin offered additional glimpses into her interests, including tattoos, hairstyles, and interior design. One post compared different ear-piercing styles to astrological signs.
