In the weeks before her wedding, bride-to-be Kaira Quiller had a striking dream about her younger sister, Stephanie — one so vivid she couldn’t shake it.
In the dream, Kaira was preparing to toss her bouquet but suddenly turned around and placed it directly in Stephanie’s hands. At that moment, Stephanie’s boyfriend, Anthony, appeared behind her and dropped to one knee.
“I woke up from that dream, and I literally had chills,” Kaira told Today.com. That moment of inspiration quickly turned into a plan.
At Kaira’s Oct. 23 destination wedding in Costa Mujeres, Mexico, the dream unfolded in real life. A TikTok video shows Kaira standing barefoot on the beach in her white lace gown, surrounded by swaying palm trees. As guests waited for the traditional bouquet toss, she paused, turned gently, and handed the flowers to Stephanie with a glowing smile.
Kaira then spun her sister toward Anthony — who was already kneeling with a ring. Stephanie’s emotional reaction made the surprise proposal a moment neither she nor the family will forget.

Kaira wrote over the video, “We shared everything growing up… my wedding day was no different,” adding in the caption, “There isn’t a thing I wouldn’t do for my little sister.”
Speaking with Today.com, Kaira explained that she and her husband, Josh, always envisioned their Mexico wedding as “a big family vacation.” With an older brother and a younger sister, she described their bond as a lifelong trio strengthened by parents who emphasized closeness and friendship.
While the wedding ceremony belonged to Kaira and Josh, the entire week turned into a celebration of family milestones. Just days earlier, Kaira’s brother Elijah and his wife, Carin, held a gender reveal party during the trip.
Planning the proposal was a secret collaboration. Kaira approached Anthony, knowing he already intended to propose that year. She shared her dream but made it clear there was “no pressure.” He agreed enthusiastically.
