Barron Trump was not seen at New York University’s Greenwich Village campus for the start of the fall semester, according to an exclusive report. Surveillance cameras and student eyewitnesses showed no sign of the youngest son of President Donald Trump on the first day of classes.

NYU has a large global network, which includes campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, domestic branches in Brooklyn and Washington, D.C., and several learning centers, including one in Los Angeles.

Campus security sources told People that Barron may be studying at one of these locations instead. A security officer reportedly said, “he’s doing a semester at another NYU campus,” but did not reveal which one.

Although Stern’s International Business Exchange Program is technically available, it usually applies to juniors and seniors, not sophomores like Barron. His absence follows a busy summer, where the 19-year-old reportedly divided his time between Trump family properties, exploring tech ventures, planning business ideas, and working on new projects.

Sources told People that Barron has been focused on his own financial interests and has also spent significant time with his family.

First Lady Melania Trump has continued to guide his well-being. After relocating to Trump Tower in Manhattan from West Palm Beach last year, she reportedly chose to keep him close instead of letting him live in student housing.

A political source claimed that the First Lady “watches Barron constantly in an effort to be sure nobody messes with him or bullies him, as this is a constant worry with her,” adding that “She always knows where he is and what he’s doing.”

Meanwhile, Barron’s profile has been drawing more public attention. Despite staying private, he is seen as having quiet influence. A recent New York Magazine profile described him as a towering 6 feet 9 inches tall and noted his involvement in his father’s second-term campaign strategy, especially in reaching younger male audiences and social media influencers.

He also played a role in arranging visits to Mar-a-Lago by Kick streamers Adin Ross and Félix “xQc” Lengyel, along with a podcast interview with the YouTube group, the NELK Boys—all while managing to stay out of the spotlight himself.
