Recently, some of that interest has turned to Barron’s personal life, especially questions about dating. According to People, Barron—who is about to begin his sophomore year at New York University’s Stern School of Business—is focusing more on business than relationships. “Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others who he is involved with in that area,” a source told the magazine.
The source also said Barron spends plenty of time with his family, even though he hasn’t been seen in public with them since his father’s inauguration. Being away at college keeps him apart, and at his age, it’s natural not to always be around parents.
Still, rumors about a possible girlfriend have surfaced. Months ago, NewsNation reported that Barron “has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot.” That report wasn’t confirmed, but it was the first suggestion of a relationship.
President Trump himself addressed the topic earlier on the Patrick Bet-David podcast, saying at the time, “I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,” back when Barron had just started at NYU. Since then, opinions differ. Sources told People that dating isn’t Barron’s main focus. “I don’t think that’s a big deal in his life right now,” one said.
“He has more school, a family who dotes on him, and a career of his own he is launching,” the source added. After President Trump began his second term, Newsweek reported that Barron was interested in starting his own real estate company.
A source also told People that Barron “wants to follow in his dad’s footsteps.” They described him as entrepreneurial, bright, and eager to start building his own projects in business and property development.
For now, while dating rumors may continue, Barron Trump’s priorities seem to be education, family, and preparing for a career in business.
