Newly released bodycam footage shows a man in a Chuck E. Cheese mascot costume being arrested in Florida.

The man, identified as Jermell J. Jones, was working his shift at the restaurant on Wednesday, July 23, when officers entered and took him into custody, PEOPLE previously reported.

In the video released by the Tallahassee Police Department, officers can be seen struggling to handcuff Jones at first, telling him to “stop resisting” before grabbing his arms and pulling them behind his back.

“Come with me Chuck E.,” one officer says as they lead him out of the restaurant and into the parking lot.

After patting him down and removing the mascot head, an officer tells Jones he is accused of “some fraud stuff with a credit card.” Jones denies using anyone else’s card and says he only uses his own Cash App.

He later admitted to officers that he sometimes used a cousin’s card, identifying her only as “Key,” according to a police report obtained by CBS Miami.

This followed a woman approaching officers at the scene and providing video evidence, identifying Jones as the person who made fraudulent purchases with her child support debit card. She told police she last used the card on June 28 during her child’s birthday party at the restaurant.

According to the report, police found the woman’s debit card in Jones’ pocket during the arrest. Investigators also reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby store and transaction logs that allegedly showed he had used the card in multiple locations.

According to The Tallahassee Democrat, Jones was charged with three felonies: theft of a credit card, criminal use of personal identification information, and fraudulent use of a credit card more than once within six months.

“We have taken the appropriate action concerning the subject employee,” a spokesperson for Chuck E. Cheese told PEOPLE in a statement.

Jones was booked and released the next morning on a $1,000 bond.
