President Donald Trump struck a combative tone on Christmas night as additional documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein were released, posting a message on Truth Social that dismissed reporting about his relationship with the late *** trafficker as “fake.”

“Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to ‘drop him like a dog’ when things got too HOT,” Trump wrote on Thursday, Dec. 25. He added that those individuals later “falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him” and instead blamed Trump, who he said “was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so.”

Trump continued by criticizing Democrats and The New York Times and revisiting claims about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, calling it “FAKE.” He wrote, “Now the same losers are at it again, only this time so many of their friends, mostly innocent, will be badly hurt and reputationally tarnished. But sadly, that’s the way it is in the World of Corrupt Democrat Politics!!! Enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas!”

The holiday post came days after the latest batch of documents in the Epstein case included an unverified allegation against Trump. One document dated Oct. 27, 2020 appears to be an FBI intake report summarizing the account of a former limo driver. While most names are redacted, the report describes an alleged 1999 visit involving the driver, his son, and an unnamed woman. The driver also claimed he had met Trump years earlier in 1995, when he said he drove the real estate developer to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The document states that the driver described portions of a phone call he said Trump made during the ride. It reads, “[Driver] reported some of the things President Trump had spoken about during the ride while on his cell phone were very concerning.” It adds, “[Driver] noted Trump continuously stated the name ‘Jeffrey’ while on the phone, and made references to ‘abusing some girl.’ [Driver] was unsure who he was talking to nor who he was referencing.”

According to the report, as the driver recounted the call, the unnamed woman with him reportedly became visibly unsettled. The document continues, “[Woman] stated, ‘He raped me.’ [Driver] said, ‘What?’ as [Woman] replied ‘Donald J. Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.’ ”

As the documents were released, the Department of Justice addressed the claims directly. In a statement posted Tuesday, Dec. 23, it said the pages contained “untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election.”

The releases are part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Trump signed in November, directing the Justice Department to release files tied to Epstein-related investigations, though with significant redactions and exceptions. Trump has previously been photographed with Epstein and had a documented relationship with him, and those connections have appeared in already released materials. He had previously opposed the legislation.

During the holiday week, Trump also used public appearances and calls to highlight political wins and revisit past election claims. On Dec. 24, he participated in NORAD Santa Claus calls with children across the country. When a child from Pennsylvania called, Trump praised the state and said, “We won Pennsylvania — actually, three times,” adding, “We won it in a landslide. So I love Pennsylvania.”
