Dancing with the Stars fans got a good laugh this week after a TikTok user captured what looked like a tense moment between Dylan Efron and pro dancer Daniella Karagach — only for Karagach to reveal the very real, very relatable story behind it.
In the viral clip, posted by Vanessa Ansoorian on TikTok, the viewer teased, “Did I just capture the drama??? WAIT FOR IT!!!!!” as Efron walks toward Karagach during a break in filming.
The moment appears to show Efron moving in for a hug while Karagach turns and walks away, prompting commenters to wonder if she had just brushed him off. Karagach quickly jumped into the comments to clear things up and shut down any talk of tension on the DWTS floor.
“Not you catching me on a mission to pick my wedgie 😂😂😂😂,” she joked, explaining that the seemingly cold reaction had nothing to do with her on-screen partner.
The TikTok creator responded enthusiastically, telling her, “QUEEN!!! We knew it wasn’t intentional! We’ve all been in a quick wedgie removal situation 😂😂😂.”
Karagach kept the banter going, admitting the moment was “so embarrassing 🙈🙈😂” as fans flooded the comments, praising her for laughing it off and being so candid.
Karagach and Efron, who have been partnered for Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, secured their spot in the season finale after surviving a surprising semifinal elimination round.
Joining them in the final episode are fellow couples Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy; Robert Irwin and Witney Carson; Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa; and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten.
