Actress Kianna Underwood, known for appearing on Nickelodeon’s All That as a child, was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Friday, Jan. 16. She was 33.

Underwood was crossing at the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., when a black Ford SUV struck her at about 6:50 a.m. local time, the New York Police Department (NYPD) said.

Authorities said she was then “subsequently struck by a black and gray sedan,” and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of both vehicles left the area and have not been identified, police said. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing with the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad.

Outside of her 2005 appearance on All That, Underwood worked across television, film, and stage.

She voiced Fuschia Glover for 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004 on Little Bill. She later appeared in The 24 Hour Woman, acting alongside Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Patti LuPone, and others.

Underwood also had a minor role in Death of a Dynasty, a satirical comedy about the hip-hop industry starring Kevin Hart. Beyond screen roles, she performed onstage for a year as Little Inez during the first national tour of Hairspray.

Underwood was born in New York City and later relocated to Los Angeles, according to The New York Post.
