A groom is going viral for how well he knows his bride — especially her fashion style!
In a TikTok reposted by Brides, actress and author Shannon Lee Barry’s new husband, Dom Fera, was asked on their wedding day in May to guess what her dress would look like. Turns out, he was almost spot-on.
The video, which has gained over a million views and was first shared on Barry’s TikTok account, shows Fera standing in front of the camera before the ceremony. A guest asked him to describe her dress.
“I would’ve thought it looked like her rehearsal dinner dress I saw last night,” he said. “I think it’s got a big princessy poof… and maybe long sleeves. I might be wrong on that.”
Fera also guessed that Barry wouldn’t wear a plain white gown. Instead, he believed there would be some color.
“Her dress last night had little flowers on it,” he explained. “So, I think there will be something like that. My big guess is that it has colors.”
The TikTok then revealed Barry’s real wedding dress. Amazingly, it had short “poofy” sleeves, floral details, and plenty of colorful touches — just like Fera predicted.
Barry captioned the video: “My man is verbose.” The in-video text added: “To be loved is to be known.”
Barry wore her colorful gown, designed by Dany Tabet, during their May wedding. She documented her dress journey on TikTok, explaining that she first spotted the gown in a video. She then traveled three hours to a boutique to try it on, instantly knowing it was the one.
The bride added her own twist with light blue sleeves she found on Etsy. They matched the dress’s “whimsical” vibe. Later, during the ceremony, she swapped them for long sleeves.
“I did a first look with my husband and had our family come early for portraits,” Barry said. “I wore the blue sleeves for the pictures because they looked cute up close. I’m so glad I did — I love how they turned out.”
The couple also went viral earlier in May for Fera’s energetic aisle walk, which received over a million likes on TikTok.
