US influencer and entrepreneur Hannah Fallis Bronfman is under fire after a video surfaced showing her mocking a fan moments after warmly interacting with her on the streets of Paris. The footage was originally uploaded to the YouTube channel of her husband, Brendan Fallis, and has since drawn widespread criticism online.
What happened?
While filming a vlog in Paris, the couple was approached by a cheerful woman who appeared to recognize Bronfman. “I was like, why do I know her… oh my God, this is really embarrassing. I actually don’t. But I have to say, I just love all your content,” the fan said, adding that she had even encouraged her daughter to follow the couple online.
Bronfman responded graciously at first, saying “So sweet,” and “Well, have fun in Paris,” as the woman walked off saying, “TikTokers in the wild.”
Moments later: Mockery caught on camera
Shortly after the encounter, Bronfman turned to the camera and quipped, “TikTokers in the wild by the loudest American I’ve ever met,” prompting laughter from both her and Fallis. That offhand remark was clipped and shared widely on Reddit, where users accused the influencer of being two-faced and disrespectful to a kind fan.
Online backlash mounts
The internet quickly condemned the couple for including the mocking moment in their vlog.
- “Hannah Bronfman being two-faced and rude to a fan who spotted her in Paris,” one Reddit user wrote.
- “The audacity of posting the video of yourself badmouthing someone who was just sweet to you… unreal,” another said.
- “So nasty, so rude,” a third user added, echoing others who were upset about the ethical issue of leaving the fan’s face unblurred in the published clip.
Others pointed out the irony: “Influencers acting like fans are a burden—when their entire career depends on them—is baffling.”
