A 21-year-old man has died a month after being shot in the neck on a Bronx street, police said Monday.

The victim, Randy Varona, was shot on July 6 around 3:35 p.m. near Crotona Park, close to Fulton Avenue and East 173rd Street, according to police.

Emergency responders found him unconscious and quickly took him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

After fighting for his life for more than a month, Varona died last Tuesday, officials confirmed.

Police said Varona lived just a block away from where the shooting happened. No arrests have been made in connection with his death.
