Authorities in Tennessee have captured the man accused of murdering four members of a family and leaving a baby in a stranger’s yard.

Austin Robert Drummond is facing charges in connection with the deaths of Adrianna Williams, 20, James M. Wilson, 21, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15. Their bodies were discovered on July 29, just hours after an infant—believed to be the child of James and Adrianna—was found abandoned roughly 25 miles away.

After a days-long search, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced that Drummond was taken into custody in Jackson, Tenn., on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Drummond had been the subject of a warrant charging him with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

The victims were identified as the infant’s parents, grandmother, and uncle, according to authorities in Dyer County.

Investigators located Drummond’s abandoned vehicle on Friday, Aug. 1, more than an hour’s drive from the crime scene, the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Before Drummond’s arrest, three others were taken into custody for allegedly helping him evade authorities following the killings.

On Monday, Aug. 4, the TBI said Dearrah Sanders was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.

Earlier, Tanaka Brown and Giovonte Thomas were also arrested and charged with the same offense.
