President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that the late Jeffrey Epstein “stole” several young female employees from his Mar-a-Lago resort, including Virginia Giuffre — who would later become one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers.

Speaking to reporters at his Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, Trump revisited his past fallout with Epstein, saying he banned the disgraced financier from Mar-a-Lago after discovering he had recruited staff from the club’s spa.

“He took people that worked for me,” President Trump said. “I told him, ‘Don’t do it anymore.’ And he did it again. So I said, ‘Stay the hell out of here.’”

When pressed further, Trump confirmed that many of those individuals were young women working in the resort’s spa. “Yes, they were in the spa,” he said. “Whether it was spa or not spa, I said, ‘We don’t want you taking our people.’”

Asked directly whether Giuffre was among those workers, Trump responded, “I think she worked at the spa… I think so. That was one of the people. He stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us — none whatsoever.”

Giuffre was 16 when she worked at Mar-a-Lago in the summer of 2000. It was during that time, she said, that she was recruited by Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre later accused Epstein and Maxwell of grooming and trafficking her, alleging she was forced into adult acts with Epstein and his associates, including Britain’s Prince Andrew — claims the prince has denied.

Giuffre escaped Epstein’s control in 2002 and went on to become a leading voice against him, even as she fought to hold others accountable for their roles in Epstein’s alleged adult trafficking network.

Tragically, Giuffre died by suicide earlier this year on April 25 at her home near Perth, Australia. She was 41.

Epstein died in 2019 while in custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, awaiting trial on federal adult trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.

A spokesperson for the White House, Steven Cheung, reiterated last week that President Trump had expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago “for being a creep.”
