Rosie O’Donnell is speaking out about the dangers of online harassment and the toll it has taken on her.

On Monday, the comedian used her Substack to address an alleged stalker who she says has been persistently tormenting her online.

In a post titled “digital stalker,” O’Donnell wrote:

“tiktok follower/ obsessed it seems/ with all things rosie/ ‘the lies’ i tell/ she has my phone number/ sadly too easy to find/ in todays insane world.”

She described how the person impersonates others online and sends disturbing messages:

“she pretends to be others/ then gloats about it/ on line – complete with texts/ ‘do u speak about me in therapy’/ she asks – i do not hon/ trump like delusional existence/ him at the center of all/ her eyes are dark/ and tinged with madness/ i block her/ she makes a new account.”

O’Donnell went on to explain that she’s dealt with similar situations before, writing about “a Iraq war veteran with a TBI,” “a woman who wants to be my wife,” and “a teen who asks to be adopted.” This time, however, she says her response is different:

“as i find only anger in my heart/ leave me alone b—-/ floats thru my mind/ and to name her/ is to give her what she wants/ so i wont/ next stop restraining order/ fame is so complicated.”

The 63-year-old performer reflected on the strange and unsettling reality of being a public figure:

“what role u play in a strangers life/ hard to understand/ to gage [sic] the actual danger/ to chose faith over fear/ my daily prayer/ aint working with this one.”

She ended her post on a lighter note, saying she is focusing on peace and recovery:

“so i carry on/ in the light of Ireland/ taking in the greenery/ hanging with new friends/ loving my life/ ‘u have no power here/ off b4/ someone drops a house/ on u 2’/ wicked witchy woman/ fly away.”

According to Fox News Digital, O’Donnell’s representative directed inquiries to her Substack, where she first published her statements.

The comedian has been living in Ireland since early this year, saying she’s stepped back from Hollywood and public life following her long-running feud with former President Donald Trump. In September, Trump posted on Truth Social threatening to revoke her U.S. citizenship, claiming she is “not a Great American.”

O’Donnell responded on Substack:

“He can’t do that because it’s against the Constitution… The only way you’re allowed to take away someone’s citizenship is if they renounce it themselves, and I will never renounce my American citizenship… I am a very proud citizen of the United States.”

She recently told the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph that she has applied for Irish citizenship, explaining that her grandparents were from Ireland and that she views the move as a form of “self-imposed political exile.”

“It will be good to have my Irish citizenship, especially since Trump keeps threatening to take away mine,” O’Donnell said.

A White House spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, later commented to Fox News Digital about the news: “What great news for America!”
