An Arrowhead Stadium employee says she “immediately started crying” after a brief but meaningful encounter with Taylor Swift on Christmas Day.
Swift, 36, attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ Christmas Day game to support her fiancé, Travis Kelce. In a fan-group post shared on social media, a stadium worker named Robyn said Swift offered generous tips to employees — including her.
Robyn wrote that she was at Arrowhead on Christmas “doing my end of season to-do list” and chatting with co-workers when she noticed Donna Kelce walk by. Soon after, she spotted Travis Kelce and Swift. According to Robyn, Swift was “running around telling everyone Merry Christmas” before approaching her directly.
Robyn said Swift thanked her for working the holiday and told her, “thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this.”

She described the couple as cheerful and appreciative, saying they were “smiling so big” and repeatedly telling staff, “Merry Christmas, thank you for working on Christmas.” Robyn added that she froze in the moment but responded with a Christmas greeting and her thanks.
After they walked away, Robyn wrote that she looked down and realized she was holding $600.
Calling it “my whole paycheck for two weeks,” Robyn said the amount hit especially hard because she had just spent about the same on Christmas for eight kids. “I immediately started crying,” she wrote, adding that she came home and couldn’t bring herself to spend it. She said she even framed one of the bills and hadn’t used any of the money yet.
Robyn said she shared the story in the fan group because she wanted to tell people who would truly appreciate it with her. She ended by writing that Swift and Kelce are “beautifully kind people,” adding, “Merry Christmas and happy birthday to me.”

Elsewhere in the day’s Chiefs news, Kelce also had fans reflecting on what could potentially be his final home game at Arrowhead. In a postgame press conference, he said he was feeling “a whole lot of emotions,” noting the intensity of playing with “everybody in the world watching” and the significance for younger players getting a taste of the NFL spotlight.
Asked directly about retirement, Kelce said he’ll make that decision later with the people closest to him and the team: “I’ll let that be a decision I’ll make with my family, friends, the Chiefs organization when the time comes.”
