President Donald Trump is rejecting the idea that his recent attacks on Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene have placed her in danger, despite her claims that escalating rhetoric has led to new “death threats.”

Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One on Sunday, Nov. 16, Trump brushed off the concern when asked about Greene’s warnings.

“Her life is in danger? Who’s that?” Trump replied when a reporter raised the issue.

After being reminded the remarks came from Greene, the president responded, “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene. I don’t think her life is in danger. I don’t think. Frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.”

Greene, 51, wrote on X the previous day that she had been contacted by private security firms warning of increased threats tied to Trump’s heightened criticism. She argued that “aggressive rhetoric” has historically resulted in men being convicted of threatening her life — and said this time, the attacks are coming from “the President of the United States.”

“As a woman I take threats from men seriously,” she wrote, later drawing a controversial comparison to the fear endured by women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein.

“As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump‘s bills and agenda … this is completely shocking to everyone,” she added.

Greene also claimed in another post on Sunday that she “received a pipe bomb threat” directed at her construction company’s office building.

Trump’s comments come just days after he revoked his endorsement of Greene in a Truth Social post on Friday, Nov. 14, calling her a “ranting lunatic” and asserting she “COMPLAINS” constantly despite his “Record Achievements” for the country.

He also accused her of being upset that he no longer returns her calls, saying he doesn’t “take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”

Greene has recently broken with the president on foreign policy and has continued to demand release of the Epstein files — something Trump had opposed. On Sunday, however, Trump encouraged House Republicans to support making those documents public.

Despite the rift, Greene insists that her loyalty to the MAGA movement remains unchanged.

“I stood with President Trump when almost no one else would,” she wrote on X. “That’s why being called a ‘traitor’ isn’t just hurtful, it puts a target on my back and puts my life in danger.”

She added that the attacks “only divide our country even more,” but maintained she still wants Trump’s administration to succeed.
