President Donald Trump intensified his public break with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Saturday, rolling out fresh nicknames for the Georgia Republican and accusing her of betraying the GOP.

In a Truth Social post, Trump derided Greene as “Marjorie Taylor Brown,” adding that she had “turned Left,” performed badly during her recent appearance on ABC’s The View, and become a “RINO.” He followed up with another message calling her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene,” writing that she was “a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY.”

Greene responded on X later Saturday, thanking supporters who had reached out during the dispute. She framed the clash as fallout from her push to release files connected to Jeffrey Epstein and her criticism of what she called a “toxic political industrial complex.” She argued that transparency on the Epstein matter is a priority for her and suggested that her stance is the reason for Trump’s attacks.

The latest exchange comes a day after Trump formally withdrew his endorsement of Greene. In a separate Truth Social post Friday night, he labeled her a “ranting lunatic,” complained that she focuses on grievances rather than celebrating his administration’s accomplishments, and hinted he could support a primary challenger against her in 2026 if “the right person” runs. He also mocked claims that she was upset he wasn’t returning her calls, saying he had too many responsibilities to take frequent calls from her.

Greene denied seeking regular contact with Trump and said his reaction was triggered by her private messages urging him to back the release of Epstein-related documents. She has argued that the public deserves full disclosure and that loyal Republicans should not be pressured into opposing the effort.

Once one of Trump’s most reliable allies on Capitol Hill, Greene has recently become a sharper critic of party leadership and of Trump’s approach to issues including U.S.–Israel policy and the Epstein files. Their dispute has now spilled fully into public view, with both sides portraying the other as drifting away from the MAGA movement they once championed together.
