Fresh questions are being raised about former President Donald Trump’s health after new photos surfaced showing what appears to be a bruise on his right hand—this time, seemingly concealed under flesh-toned makeup.
The latest sighting came Tuesday, when Trump addressed reporters outside the White House. A C-SPAN camera captured what looked like the same recurring bruise on the back of his right hand—only this time, it appeared partially masked with skin-colored concealer, according to The Daily Beast.
The bruise, along with recent signs of swollen ankles, has fueled mounting speculation about Trump’s physical condition. Over the weekend, he was seen attending the FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey alongside First Lady Melania Trump. Observers noted visible swelling in his ankle and discoloration on his hand while he watched the match from the stands.
Radar Online cited a source who pointed out that “the same discoloration is still clearly visible on his hand in the war room picture,” referring to an official photo released last month following a military strike on Iranian nuclear targets. “It’s an alarming sign,” the source added, linking the symptom to concerns about potential underlying health issues, including speculation ranging from dementia to syphilis.
The bruise in question has appeared on multiple occasions. It was clearly visible during the December 2024 summit with French President Emmanuel Macron, and again during several meetings focused on the war in Ukraine. Despite public concern, the White House has downplayed the matter.
“President Trump is a man of the people,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “He meets more Americans and shakes more hands daily than any other president in history. His commitment to the American people is unwavering.”
Trump himself previously attributed the bruising to his active public schedule. “It’s from shaking hands with thousands of people,” he told The Times last December, claiming it was a minor work-related injury.
Meanwhile, past photos have also fueled speculation about Trump’s health, with some online observers pointing out odd bulges under his clothing and raising questions about whether he might be using a catheter—claims the former president has never addressed.
