A 36-year-old mother of two who was seven months pregnant was allegedly killed after being struck by a car while riding a bike with her husband and their two children in the greater Los Angeles area.

Regan Cole-Graham died on Jan. 31. Her baby girl was transported to the NICU at UCLA Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles for treatment and later died, according to a GoFundMe created by the family. A GoFundMe spokesperson confirmed the fundraiser’s authenticity.

“Tragically, Regan’s cherished baby girl passed away last night. Please continue to hold Matt and the boys in your thoughts and prayers. We are all truly grateful for the outpouring of support,” organizer Carter Fondon wrote in the fundraiser comments.

The fundraiser description remembers Cole-Graham as “a loving & devoted wife, a fierce & joyful mother, a hilarious & loyal sister, and a beautiful, fiery daughter,” adding that donations are being raised to help cover funeral costs and support her husband, Matt Graham, and their children.

Photos included in the fundraiser show Cole-Graham and her husband with their two children, as well as images from their wedding and family moments with their sons.

Independent journalist Chris Cillizza also shared the GoFundMe on X, writing that Matt Graham is a personal friend.

“I wanted to share a tragedy with you all. And ask you for help,” Cillizza wrote. “On Saturday night, my college friend Matt Graham, his wife Regan Cole-Graham and their two young boys were riding bikes in Los Angeles. She was struck by a car and killed. She was also 7 months pregnant with their third child — a little girl.”

He added: “I understand that not everyone is in a financial position to donate. But, if you are, please give what you can to my friend who has had his entire life change in the space of the last 2 days. Thank you.”

As of Monday, Feb. 2, the fundraiser had raised $109,818 of its $120,000 goal. Details surrounding Cole-Graham’s death were unclear at the time.

“Matt, I’m so, so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the pain you and your sons are going through, but please know I’m thinking of you and your family during these trying times,” one donor wrote.

Authorities have been contacted for additional details about the incident.
