Taylor Swift, 35, and Ed Sheeran, 34, joined friends and family to celebrate Selena Gomez, 33, and Benny Blanco, 37, at the couple’s wedding reception in California on Saturday, Sept. 27, a source tells PEOPLE. Both musicians delivered heartfelt speeches during the festivities. Sheeran and Blanco have collaborated on several albums over the years, and the group shares a close friendship.
Other speakers at the nuptials included Gomez’s mom Mandy Teefey and stepfather Brian Teefey, as well as Blanco’s parents, Sandra and Andrew Levin.
“At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night,” the source said. “The vibe was so much fun.”
“They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room,” they added.

Gomez announced the wedding on Instagram, posting a series of photos and clips from the celebration with the caption, “🤍 9.27.25 🤍.” Blanco shared his own images, writing, “I married a real life disney princess,” on his Instagram account.
Other notable guests included Steve Martin and Martin Short, who delivered a joint speech at the rehearsal dinner, along with Paul Rudd, Paris Hilton, SZA, Camila Cabello, Cara Delevingne, Eric Andre, and Finneas. Gomez’s Emilia Perez co-stars Edgar Ramirez and Zoe Saldaña were also in attendance, alongside some members of her Wizards of Waverly Place “family.”
From the start, Swift has been supportive of Gomez and Blanco’s relationship, from gifting them homemade sourdough to sharing heartfelt messages online. After Gomez announced her engagement on Instagram on Dec. 11, 2024, Swift commented, “Yes I will be the flower girl.”

Gomez returned the sentiment when Swift got engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on Aug. 26. The following day, Gomez reshared the engagement photos on her Instagram Stories, captioning them, “When bestie gets engaged 🥰.”
The actress and singer also highlighted love advice Swift had shared with her in April 2009: “Real love still happens sometimes. It’s not just something we make up when we’re nine. I have to believe that. You do too.”
Gomez and Blanco revealed on Spotify’s Countdown to on March 19 that one of the first parties they attended together was hosted by Swift after an awards show. Blanco recalled, “No one knew we were dating and we were hiding.”
Swift and Gomez’s friendship dates back to 2008 when they both dated Jonas brothers—Swift with Joe and Gomez with Nick. On the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Gomez reflected, “I dated Nick and she dated Joe. And everything was, it was cute, we were young. We all know and love each other now and it’s so cute. We don’t know what we were doing — She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other because it was really sweet.”

Gomez shared that she was around 15 and Swift around 18 at the time, describing a period “when it was the crazy curly Taylor and she had all these bracelets that went all the way up.” The two bonded over breakups and became best friends, remaining close through “all the ups and downs” over the next 16 years.
Over the years, Swift and Gomez have celebrated birthdays, supported each other’s music releases, and cheered each other on at award shows. Most recently, on May 31, they enjoyed a girls night out in New York City shortly after Swift announced that she had regained ownership of her music masters—a milestone Gomez celebrated on Instagram with, “Yes you did that Tay. So proud!”
