Newly released photos from the U.S. Department of Justice show Jeffrey Epstein sitting beside — and in some instances appearing to cuddle — young girls.

The images are part of a recent wave of Epstein-related materials the Justice Department has released since Friday, Dec. 19.

In one framed photo, Epstein appears seated on an airplane, smiling as he holds what looks like a young girl on his lap. The girl’s face is redacted, and she is not identified.

Another image shows Epstein wearing a bathrobe and cradling what again appears to be a young girl, his eyes closed as he holds her.

A separate framed photo, also seemingly taken aboard an airplane, shows Epstein seated next to a young child.

It remains unclear who the children pictured are, and it is not known whether any of them are potential victims.

In another previously reported photo, Epstein is seen sitting shirtless on a couch; the leg of a child is also visible in the image.

The latest batch of photos and documents was released after President Donald Trump signed the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Congress passed last month. However, the Justice Department has not yet made public all materials required under the law, and much of what has been released so far is heavily redacted.

Featured in the newly released materials are images involving several high-profile figures, including former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson and Kevin Spacey.

One photo set taken inside Epstein’s home included multiple framed images, including two with Trump. That photo was removed from the Justice Department’s website shortly after the trove was posted, but it was later restored following public backlash.

Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while in federal custody in New York City. The financier had been arrested and was awaiting trial on federal trafficking charges.
