Police say three girls who disappeared from a behavioral health facility in Virginia have now all been located and are safe.

Forever Scott, 12, Jocelyn Krofek, 14, and Darsha McAllister, 16, went missing from Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center on Sunday, Jan. 18. Authorities previously said the girls were considered runaways.

On Jan. 23, police announced Krofek was the first to be found safe. Days later, on Friday, Jan. 31, they said Scott had also “been located and is safe.” Because of her age, police had earlier classified Scott as “endangered.”

The final update came Thursday, Feb. 5, when police said McAllister had also been found safe, adding that no further information was available.

Harbor Point CEO Freddie Anderson previously said staff “responded immediately by informing local law enforcement and the patients’ guardians” after the girls were reported missing, according to NBC affiliate WAVY. Anderson added that the facility was “cooperating fully with the Portsmouth Police Department as they worked to safely locate these individuals.”

Elexcia Washington, a spokesperson for the Portsmouth Police Department, told ABC affiliate WVEC that a Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative (CODI) Alert was issued for Scott and McAllister ahead of the state’s second winter storm in a week. Scott was located before the storm arrived.

“No one wants juveniles out in the cold. No one wants juveniles traveling without supervision from one location to another,” Washington said.
